Aliwan Festival 2013

April 13 2013 – a much anticipated festival for many. Since 2007, I make sure to attend this festival as much as I could. What made this popular? Well.. various contingents all over the Philippines come to Manila and perform their native dances. Winners will be awarded with a prizes but I guess the “prestige and pride” is what matters to the contestants.

For those who’d like to join the festivities in the upcoming year, I suggest to go as early as 10 am to have a closer interaction with the contingents and to have a better photo opportunities with them.

Aliwan Fiesta 2012

Aliwan Fiesta is the battle of the best of Philippine Festivals. It showcase tradition and culture of people from different parts of the country. It is held annually and personally, I think it’s one of the best photo opportunity for photographer like me. I got the chance to attend this festivity. Allow me to share some of my shots.
