Exploring Pagudpud – Timmangtang Rock and Bantay Abot Cave

Another interesting places to visit while in Pagudpud are the Timmangtang Rock and Bantay Abot Cave. These are rock/land formation that seems to be picturesque. It’s very near to each other and situated along the road going to Blue Lagoon.

Simply being there was a great experience. I spent some time here for my usual photography but wish I could stay longer. A must visit while in Pagudpud.

Highly Recommended!

Exploring Pagudpud – Patapat Viaduct

Aside from the famous white beach of Pagudpud, there are few places that are worth visiting around Ilocos Norte. No wonder why people are traveling up north from different areas of the country.

Pannzian Beach and Mountain Resort – Gem of the North

I’ve been planning an Ilocos tour years ago. So when I got the chance few weeks ago, I never thought twice. I packed my bags and headed to the north… more often than not, when I travel, the first thing I will search on the Internet are the places to stay and where to eat. I’m very familiar with most common resorts in Pagudpud, but during my travel, I thought of staying to less known places, at least on my personal knowledge.

And then, there’s the “Pannzian Beach and Mountain Resort”. While doing research, I found out their beach do not have the typical fine white sand of Pagudpud, nor even swimming pool. But was amazed with good reviews and feedback. So the latter made me curious.

From Laoag City, it took me 3-4 hours driving. It’s already 5:30pm when we reached the resort. Fortunately, the owner was still there when we arrived. She gave us a bit history of how the resort started, how they manage it, their themes, food, and other information that made me love the place.

The lobby is the main restaurant.

My first impression was, I love the place! I love the ambiance! And supposedly, we planned for just an overnight stay. But seeing just the restaurant made me booked another night without seeing 90% of the place.
